We provide care for children from 6 weeks old through Pre-K, with additional programs available for school-age children.

The Little Academy is open Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.

We offer full-time enrollment only. Families are welcome to pick up earlier in the day; however, we encourage children to arrive by 9:00 AM so they can fully participate in the day’s activities. 

Yes! Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack are included in tuition.

We use Frog Street Curriculum, a Louisiana Tier 1 curriculum designed to support children’s development through age-appropriate, hands-on learning experiences.

Yes, The Little Academy is a Type III early learning center, and we accept Louisiana CCAP for eligible families.

 

Tuition varies based on your child’s age and classroom. Contact us with your child’s date of birth, and we’ll be happy to provide current tuition and availability.

Yes. There is a $140 one-time registration fee.

Tuition is paid weekly through ACH using Tuition Express/Procare. Tuition is charged for your child’s reserved spot rather than attendance.

Absolutely! We love giving families the opportunity to visit our center, meet our team, and see what makes The Little Academy special. Tours are available by appointment.

Required items vary depending on your child’s age and classroom. Once enrolled, we’ll provide you with a list of everything your child will need.

We use Procare to help keep families informed and connected with important updates and center communication.

The Little Academy does not provide transportation. Transportation for before- and after-school programs is provided by participating schools when available.

Our teachers use developmentally appropriate observations and assessments, including Teaching Strategies GOLD and ASQ-3, to help monitor children’s growth and development.

We believe early childhood education should be about more than simply providing childcare. Our focus is creating a safe, nurturing, engaging environment where children can learn, build relationships, explore, and grow.

We love The Little Academy. My daughter has learned so much since starting. She has learned to count in Spanish, how to spell, and so much more. The staff is amazing. Each person not only knows her name but greets her each and every day. It is such a loving and fun environment. The curriculum is great and my daughter absolutely loved summer camp this past summer! This is truly a great place to send your kids!

We absolutely LOVE The Little Academy!! My daughter has learned SO much and there is no doubt in my mind that she is prepared for PK/Kindergarten in public school because of all the hard work these teachers put in day after day. She has grown tremendously, socially and academically, this year in Mrs. Lori’s class. All the staff is incredibly friendly and greet my child by name as she enters and exits each day. Mrs. Tiffany and Leanne are always available to answer any questions and are super accommodating. We cannot wait for our son to join The Little Academy this fall.

We absolutely love the Little Academy!! My 1-year-old has learned and grown so much since starting here. All of his teachers have been amazing with the children — patient, caring, attentive, and always makes us feel comfortable leaving our little one in their care. Little Academy has been a second home for my two boys, 2 and 4 years old. This is their very first school experience and it has been absolutely pleasant from the very first visit. My mother and I insisted they would be joining the program and there weren’t any runner-ups. Tiffany is experienced, considerate and delightful. The entire staff is friendly, personable and quickly became family. They go above and beyond to make my children and myself feel safe and handle us with extreme care. Ms. Kathy, my son’s teacher, makes me feel at ease leaving him in her care. She treats him like her very own. She is creative and hands on and is always going out of her way to make sure he has everything he needs. Leanne informed me about the resources available for my delayed child and he now receives care right at school for his speech and occupational therapy. Thai program is all inclusive, from food to fun. They have onsite playgrounds and activities suitable for all ages. The have very few school closure days making it easier during the holidays. We are blessed for the opportunity to be apart of this program and so very thankful to all the women at The Little Academy that treat our littles with the utmost respect and care.

I'd 100% recommend the Little Academy! We moved here from out of state a few months ago and I was very nervous for my daughter to attend daycare for the first time, but the staff was very patient with her transition and always helpful and friendly! Now she loves walking in every day and loves her teachers. I toured a couple other centers before we toured here and it was very clear with the quality, cleanliness, friendliness and attention that The Little Academy is the best place for our child.
